Chief Hildenbrand reported that the 2001 Ford Explorer, which currently has 96,000 miles, will be replaced with the Chief's vehicle which has 14,000 miles.  The 1998 Chevy pickup will be replaced with a 2010 Ford ¾ ton pickup.  The new pickup will be purchased through GSA at a cost of $25,659.00.  A new Ford Expedition will be purchased through state bid to replace the Chief's vehicle. 

Chief Hildenbrand reported he and Richard Vandevander will be attending a Ohio Fire Chief's breakfast on March 10th and 11th.  The fire chief's tell them the legislation that needs to be followed that they are interested in, that they have taken a stand on.  On Thursday morning they meet our senators and representatives at the State House to discuss matters of interest and those that impact Hambden Township. 

Chief Hildenbrand reported that the Easter Egg Hunt will be held Saturday, April 3rd at 10:00 a.m. in the Hambden Township Park.

FINANCIAL
Mrs. Chorman submitted to the Board for approval and signature warrants #4233 through and including #4292 totaling $82,794.24.  Backup was attached to the checks.  She asked the Board if there were any questions or discussion required regarding the bills, if not they will stand as approved and be mailed out.  There were no questions from the Board. 

Mrs. Chorman submitted to the Board for approval and signature purchase orders #927 thru 955.  There were four blanket purchase orders.  $2,500.00 from the cemetery general fund 1000-4410-730 for Cemetery Improvements; $1,500.00 from the EMS/Ambulance fund 2281-4230-319 for Other Professional & Technical Services; $1,500.00 from the EMS/Ambulance fund 2281-4230-599 for Other Misc. Expenses; and $500.00 from the zoning general fund 1000-4130-599 for Zoning Office Supplies; these do not exceed the appropriated amount.
RESOLUTION 2010-011  made by Nadine Pope, seconded by Edward Kaminski to approve the blanket purchase orders as requested by Mrs. Chorman.  Upon call of roll: Mrs. Pope- yes, Mr. Kaminski- yes and Mr. McClintock - yes.  Motion carried.

Mrs. Chorman reported that the receipts for the month of February totaled $411,994.47.

Mrs. Chorman reported that the expenditures for the month of February totaled $50,178.00. 

Mrs. Chorman reported that the permanent appropriations have been filed and returned by the Geauga County Auditor's Office.  The system has been updated.

Mrs. Chorman reported that she and Mrs. Dottore have updated the record retention schedule.  A copy has been given to the Board of Trustees to review.  Mrs. Chorman would like to submit the RC-1, One-Time Disposal of Obsolete Records to the Ohio Historical Society for approval.  This would allow the shredding of obsolete records to be done in conjunction with the spring trash day shredding on April 24th.
