Mr. Kaminski has been a trustee for over 25 years. He was a member of the Zoning Commission for 10 years prior to becoming a trustee. He is responsible for the Road Department and is Liaison to the Hambden Fire Department.
Mrs. Pope has been a trustee since 2002 after serving as the Township Clerk for 10 years. She is responsible for the Township Cemeteries and Township Hall
Mr. McClintock is our newest Trustee, having just been elected in November of 2007. Mr. McClintock brings with him a wealth of knowledge from his job as deputy director at the Geauga Park District. He is responsible for the Hambden Park and the Zoning Department.
Our Township form of government consists of three Township Trustees and one Township Fiscal Officer. Each is elected to a four-year term in a non-partisan election. Two Trustees terms alternate with that of one Trustee and the Clerk. This provides for continuity of experienced leadership. The Trustees are responsible for the overall administration of the Township and its services. The Township Fiscal Officer is responsible for handling all financial matters and keeps all Township records.
The Board of Trustees meets the first and third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the Township Hall. All meetings are open to the public and residents are encouraged to attend.
